THE OUTER HORIZON

Positioned at the absolute edge of the Emperor’s remaining sensor range, this lonely expanse represents the true, untamed wilderness of the new galaxy. This sector is home to Lumera and its companion moon a pristine, lush paradise kind to new explorers as well as Vermillion, a vast and striking water world rich with untapped marine resources. Because it sits entirely outside the protected network grid, there are no established space stations or defensive deflection arrays here to safeguard pioneers. It remains a sector of immense, raw opportunity, offering the perfect welcoming frontier for engineers ready to chart their own path.

ACRIBUS PLANET

   GPS:-=Acribus Planet=-(OH):-45530421.92:-48030571.67:-14447648.77:#FFF17A75:

Telemetry Scan: 1.4g heavy gravity. A punishingly hot, hyper-arid desert world with clear blue skies and sudden, blinding global sandstorms. The atmosphere has low O₂ levels and requires filtration systems. Home to the Acribus Trade Outpost, located directly on the surface.

Engineering Note: The 1.4g gravity severely strains atmospheric thrusters. All transport craft should be equipped with high-torque upward-facing industrial hydrogen thrusters to prevent catastrophic crashes during sandstorm descents.

Log Entry: Probe #88 tracked an armed trade freighter attempting to land during a sandstorm. Blowing sand fouled the atmospheric intakes while the 1.4g gravity overwhelmed their remaining thrust. The ship crashed into a dune three kilometres short of the landing pad, destroying the crew and cargo.

VERMILION PLANET

    GPS:-=Vermilion Planet=-(OH):-36262539.26:-35460206.24:-16136707.25:#FFF17A75:

Telemetry Scan: A vast water world rich in massive, untapped marine resources. Endless oceans are occasionally broken by sharp, jagged landmasses where the terrain meets the sea, creating natural deep-water ports and landing shelves.

Engineering Note: Highly suitable for large-scale hydrogen extraction and long-term marine platform colonisation.

Log Entry: An industrial extraction team attempted to deploy a massive, unpowered drilling rig into a deep marine trench. They misjudged the underwater pressure and structural currents. The platform buckled during anchoring, dragging the entire crew and millions of kilograms of steel into the pitch-black abyss.

No signals have been recovered.

LUMERA PLANET

    GPS:-=Lumera Planet=-(OH):-40095048.13:-44877283.35:-5843174.31:#FFF17A75:

Telemetry Scan: A beautiful, highly temperate, Earth-like world dominated by deep green plains, light forests, and vast rolling ice sheets. Low hills are crossed by two distinct mountain ranges covered in evergreen-type alien flora. Its maritime regions form striking "seas of ice" scattered with scarred, fractured archipelagos. Located beside Wormhole Alpha-Lumera and the Aethelred Exchange (Lumera Trade Station).

Engineering Note: Considered one of the safest and most welcoming worlds for establishing permanent agricultural or industrial headquarters.

Log Entry: Even paradise has a cost. Imperial records describe an early engineering camp established among the northern frozen archipelagos. The crew successfully harvested thousands of tons of wood and ice, but without a defensive deflection array or space-station coverage, a single rogue asteroid bypassed their grid and destroyed the settlement while they celebrated their first harvest.

Respawn Access: Planetary drop pod available from the Destiny Station transporter.

LUMERA ECHO MOON

   GPS:-=Lumera Echo Moon=-(OH):-39612760.39:-44482891.03:-4554581.48:#FFF17A75:

Telemetry Scan: 0.3g gravity. Completely airless and locked in a permanent state of extreme cold. The surface is covered in highly precise, almost geometric landscape patterns of unknown origin. Several massive, flat-bottomed craters provide natural shelter from cosmic radiation and micrometeorite storms.

Engineering Note: Ideal for low-gravity shipyard outposts or concealed cargo vaults within the protected crater basins.

Log Entry: Independent prospectors attempted to decipher the geometric patterns, believing they marked an ancient ore cache. After months of drilling along the lines, they exhausted their batteries and life-support systems, only to discover the formations were natural crystal shear lines.

They froze to death inside their unpowered rovers.
